SVA 6th Floor Animation Dept New York, NY

This project was a full renovation of The School of Visual Arts Animation Department located on the sixth floor of 209 East 23rd Street. The project scope included the complete gut renovation and interior fit-out of 6,000 square feet. All partitions in this space were constructed with clear-story glass to allow natural sunlight to illuminate the space. Custom 6 ft. x 4 ft. display screens were also installed to imitate natural skylights that displayed an actual photo taken on top of the building facing upward. The space was fitted with a new vertical ADA wheelchair lift, and all-new mechanical systems and architectural studio track lighting were installed.
