Avenues Small World – New York, NY

The architect on this project, Efficiency Lab, reconfigured the floor layout to better suit an open flow through the Small World space. Taurino transformed the central areas that were previously used as offices into a play area. Four classrooms were constructed with new lighting, millwork, and furniture. These classrooms feature high end finishes such as wood flooring and tackable wall covering to create an interactive learning space. The project scope totaled 4,345 sf. This included a new Movement Room, new restrooms, a new office, and updates to the existing classrooms and corridors.
